Main: Participate!
We're having the wedding in Nigel's backyard and garden, which is a beautiful blank canvas to work on. We're envisioning lots of twinkle lights, draped fabrics, flowers and an asian-inspired theme. If you have decorations we can borrow, and or would like to help with the setup on Friday and Saturday, please let us know!
We are hoping that some of our guests would like to contribute to the food by bringing some dishes to share.
Start thinking now about a delicious finger food recipe you might like to put together for the reception! Or if you can't come up with anything, I'm sure we could suggest something when the date gets closer.
DETAILS:
It is best if most people bring cold, fingerfood appetizers, but there will be room in the oven for about 6 dishes if anyone wants to prepare a hot dish.* (Have it ready for the oven, the caterers will be using the kitchen).
Serving utensils will be provided, so leave those at home.
You may want to write your name on the bottom of your serving dish so you can be sure to not lose it.
*Please let us know if you want to use the oven to heat up your dish.
Any help is greatly appreciated and adds to the feeling of this being a community wedding!
