Vacation Rentals

Vacation Rentals in the area are plentiful and often comparible to hotel rates, especially for small groups. Here's a list of rentals in the Kenwood/Glen Ellen/Sonoma area. Here's a list of rentals closer to our house on the Russian River. Some of them have week minimums this time of year and are popular -so book sooner than later!

General Lodging Information

Below are a handful of hotels, inns, and B&B's that we thought would be good choices for our guests. These are just suggestions - if there is something you are looking for that you don't see, feel free to contact us or go to www.sonoma.com/lodging for a very long list of lodging possibilities!

Our wedding is competing for rooms with the demolition derby and the Elvis impersonation contest at the Sonoma County Fair, as well as Lazy Bear weekend in Guerneville. Some of the hotels we have listed are already booked and some have a higher rate than listed.

We've been calling around and found rooms in Sebastopol, which is about halfway between our house and the wedding site. We have gone ahead and booked a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express there. It is newer and quite nice and even passing on a locals discount for these rooms! However, it is about a 30-40 minute drive to the wedding site. There are options closer to the wedding site in Santa Rosa available as well. The link above will show a lot of the possibilities.

For those of you who are coming out for our wedding from a distance and will perhaps be here for a few days, know that you may also want to explore lodging on the coast and just drive over for the wedding. There are many beautiful areas of Sonoma County, from the coast, to the redwoods, the Russian River area (where we live) and the warmer inland areas near Sonoma and Kenwood. There is, of course, wine tasting and related wine country type activities to be had throughout. This wine road website is one of many that can guide the wine inspired traveler.
